The QA Specialist will work in a dynamic team environment on the Quality Assurance of residential energy efficiency (EE) programs in Pennsylvania. As a QA Specialist for PSD, you will work closely with a group of highly skilled professionals to conduct QA ratings/field inspections to the requirements of various utility programs.

Green Workers Alliance is hiring a Organizer

Position description: We are seeking an Organizer to strengthen our online organizing and help us develop our ground organizing. We currently have a small but mighty staff of three. In addition, at least six GWA members participate in three-month paid fellowships each year.

With a workforce that is constantly on the road, much of our work currently occurs online, with an annual leadership meeting and opportunities at least every other month for members to participate in in-person activities like meetings, actions with allied groups, and press conferences. We seek to increase this in-person work, particularly with regular organizing tours to workplaces and hiring fairs.

 A typical day might consist of online outreach to members we find on Facebook, calls to members and leaders, helping deal with a member’s workplace issue, and doing a training with GWA fellows. On the road, it could involve visiting workers near their workplace, participating in rallies or actions with members, or bringing together leaders to plan strategy.

412 Food Rescue is hiring a Support Specialist

Position description: The Support Specialist reports to the Director of Partner Success and will combine their technical expertise with keen customer service acumen to triage and document problems, identify root causes, propose solutions, and guide users throughout the process. In addition, the Support Specialist will contribute to the growing and evolving knowledge library and act as a collaborative member of the Food Rescue Hero team as it sets and achieves ambitious expansion goals. 

 The strategic goals of this position are to:

  • Support a seamless customer journey through technical and customer support using a variety of mediums

  • Combine technical and customer support skills to determine the root causes of problems and identify solutions

  • Use data to investigate user issues and to inform the evolution of the customer experience

  • Support Engineering by creating and maintaining detailed documentation of customer issues

  • Support expansion goals by collaborating to improve both the product and the customer experience

Global Links is hiring a Volunteer Engagement Program Associate

Position description: Global Links’ volunteer program is the lifeblood of our organization and is often lauded for the service-learning experience we provide to volunteers from diverse backgrounds – students, faith-based groups, corporate groups, civic associations, students/adults with physical or developmental disabilities, families, and more. This position is often the first and main point of contact that volunteers have with the organization. Volunteer supervisors are responsible for supervising volunteer activities in accordance with Global Links health & safety protocols and inventory handling standards while pro-actively engaging them with relevant information about Global Links and our programs. Your supervisor is the Volunteer Program Manager. Primary duties include: orientation and education of new volunteers and groups, instructing and guiding volunteers on processing medical materials to benefit our medical aid programs based on established procedures and quality guidelines, general maintenance of the volunteer area, and other tasks as needed. This position is a member of our volunteer engagement team.
