Part of our Campaigns team, our Ohio River Valley Petrochemical team focuses on opposing new fossil fuel and plastic infrastructure in PA, OH, WV while also promoting sustainable regional economic development opportunities. We work with Climate Reality Leaders, chapters, and regional coalition partners to advance a more sustainable and equitable future in the region.

Position description: The development Director is a key part of executing the organization's vision of building sustainable progressive power in Western Pennsylvania that will determine the political and economic future for working-class people across the state. The Development Director will work closely with the Leadership Team, Chapter teams, and Boards to achieve the fundraising goals for the organizations. The Development Director plays a vital role in planning, coordinating, and successfully implementing the organization’s fundraising and development plans and ensuring they are aligned with our Guiding Principles.

The resources that we need exist in the world and the job of the Development Department is to organize money, much in the same way that our field staff organize in their communities. Position Description: An Outdoor Educator is a part-time employee who will lead or assist on outdoor trips and environmental lessons primarily with youth. The Outdoor Educator will also help with events for Venture Outdoors, ensuring a successful, professional, and excellent experience for all participants. This staff member acts as a representative of Venture Outdoors to promote the mission of the organization. An Outdoor Educator leads lessons in schools and on outings in activities such as hiking, flat water paddling, biking, geocaching, and more. The Outdoor Educator may also lead virtual lessons and workshops with youth.

KeyLogic Systems is hiring an Energy and Climate Life Cycle Modeler Reviewer

Position description: This position would support two types of continuous quick turnaround projects (approximately 1-2 months in duration) requested by the Department of Energy. The first continuous project class is the review of government subsidy applications of proposed technologies that are partly assessed for their life cycle GHG emissions savings compared to existing technologies. This project requires the development of Excel and openLCA models and short reports. The second continuous project class comprises reviews of submitted ISO-compliant LCA studies for evaluation of government-funded emission reduction incentives following NETL guidance documents, requiring knowledge of various standards and guidance documents, and leading to written and virtual briefings.
