Tree Pittsburgh is hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator

Position description: Tree Pittsburgh is an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing community vitality by restoring and protecting the urban forest through tree planting and care, education, and advocacy. Under the supervision of the Tree Equity Manager, the Community Outreach Coordinator develops, enhances, and implements community-driven programming to foster and grow community partnerships.

Responsibilities include; motivate and direct stakeholders to Tree Pittsburgh’s programming including ReLeaf planning meetings and community surveys, tree plantings, educational classes, and volunteer opportunities, assist in creating and collaborating on outreach materials for constituents, and support outreach initiatives including community canvassing.

Although a hybrid position, the primary work location is Tree Pittsburgh's office located in Pittsburgh, PA. This position does require travel across Allegheny county and some evening and weekend hours.
