Women’s Center & Shelter is hiring a Summer Law Student:

As a Summer Law Student, you will assist Staff Attorneys in all aspects related to the legal representation of victims of intimate partner violence. If eligible to be a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) under Pa.B.A.R. 321 and Pa.B.A.R. 322, you may provide direct legal representation, under the supervision of the Legal Director. If you are passionate about working with populations experiencing intimate partner violence, we are eager to hear from you. Experience: entry-level, current enrolled in accredited law school

Pennsylvania United is hiring an Environmental Justice Coalition Organizer:

Pittsburgh United is seeking an experienced, creative, and dedicated leader for the Environmental Justice Coalition Organizer position. With more than a dozen active coalition partners, the Environmental Justice Table at Pittsburgh United is poised to take on the region’s critical climate challenges through the Our Water Campaign and new environmental and climate justice work.

Top priorities for this position include maintaining and growing strong coalition relationships, moving partners to action on shared EJ priorities, and bringing together the individuals, leaders, and organizations necessary to launch the next phase of the Our Water/ Environmental Justice Campaign.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Experience: intermediate, experience with coalition organizing and campaign work

Salary: $43,000-$55,000

Pittsburgh Ballet Theater is hiring a School Operations Coordinator:

The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School seeks a school operations coordinator who will implement a student-centered approach to school administration. This position acts as a liaison between the organization and students and their families and caregivers, being responsible for managing the internal organization and dissemination of communication directives connected with PBT School programs and activities.

Additionally, this individual coordinates the administrative needs of large departmental projects such as parent/guardian volunteer recruitment and management, support auditions and summer programs. The school operations coordinator reports to the director of school operations but works closely with the school director and division principals on a daily basis. This is not a supervisory role.

Experience: intermediate, 2+ years of arts administration or similar work

Salary: $35,000 +

FracTracker is hiring an Air Monitoring Fellow:

The Air Monitoring Fellow will play a supportive role in a community-led air monitoring project in the Ohio River Valley between Ohio and West Virginia (Hancock, Marshall, Brooke, Belmont, Monroe, andJefferson Counties). This project is a three-year project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the American Rescue Plan. The project is being carried out by Freshwater Accountability Project, CREATE Lab, Environmental Health Project, and FracTracker.

This project will engage local audiences to educate the public about air pollution from industrial sources in the Ohio River Valley. The position will consist of field work to conduct air sampling and monitoring, and troubleshooting equipment, and engage with air monitor hosts. The Fellow will also support the creation of presentations and reports to communicate findings from air monitoring

Location: East Ohio/WV Panhandle

Experience: entry-level, some relevant knowledge/experience required

Salary: $45,000-$50,000

SAG-AFTRA is hiring a Business Representative:

Responsible for administration and enforcement of collective bargaining agreements, including researching, processing and resolving claims on behalf of performers under SAG-AFTRA contracts. Interpret contractual provisions for performers, talent agents, and production personnel. Responsible for handling signatory processes and production monitoring. Participate in outreach and educational events on behalf of the Ohio-Pittsburgh Local.

Location: Eastern OH/Western PA

Experience: intermediate, bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Salary: $62,407.80

Grow Pittsburgh is hiring a Director of School Garden Programs:

The Director of School Garden Programs ensures the overall success of all school-based garden programs—currently at more than 50 early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools across more than 10 school districts. Through the lens of food sovereignty we create outdoor experiences, curriculum alignment and support school communities by teaching them to grow, cook and eat fresh food.

The ideal candidate will support and guide our school gardens team through all aspects of strategic visioning while supporting Grow Pittsburgh’s commitment to our Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion practices. The Director is responsible for creating and nurturing a collaborative team culture across programs.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Experience: mid-level, 3+ years in a managerial position, prior educational experience

Salary: $53,000 - $68,000

Women for a Healthy Environment is hiring a Director of Healthy Homes Program:

Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE) seeks a full-time Director of Healthy Homes to join an organization dedicated to educating and empowering community members to act as ambassadors about environmental risks. Through educational programming, technical assistance, coalition-building and advocacy, WHE delivers programming that focuses on creating Healthy Homes, Healthy Schools and Healthy Early Learning Centers. The organization advocates for policy solutions that aim to better protect public health and reduce the risk of exposure to environmental toxins.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Experience: mid-level, 3-5 years of non-profit program supervision

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
