Pitt’s Office of Sustainability is hiring a Sustainable Laboratories Intern:

The Intern will help research, analyze, plan for, and implement progress towards various aspects of the Pitt Sustainability Plan and Pitt Climate Action Plan in laboratories. Specific projects are anticipated to include:

  • Analyze, contextualize, & present results of Styrofoam flows to and on campus, alongside follow-on solutions, including densifier options, costs, and benefits.

  • Collect, analyze, & present data on potential improvements to existing Pitt Green Lab designation, including benchmarking against other institutions.

The Pittsburgh Foundation is hiring a Social Impact & Data Analysis Intern:

The Forbes Funds has an immediate opening for a social impact & capacity intern. This position is an integral part of The Forbes Funds team and requires a dynamic individual who can balance multiple projects, support internal and external partnerships, and guide critical integration of metrics, project alignment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH), and new programmatic opportunities to regional and local needs.

The successful candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. This person will have an interest in social impact, global metrics (UNSDGs and SDoH), the success of the nonprofit sector. This candidate will also thrive in a collaborative environment and have demonstrated experience working in or with a community-based organization. Must possess excellent public and private communication, leadership qualities, organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, and to exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with highly sensitive and confidential information.

East End Food Co-op Federal Credit Union is hiring a Teller & Assistant Loan Underwriter:

This position serves as a Teller and Assistant Loan Underwriter of the East End Food Cooperative Federal Credit Union (EEFC FCU) and is responsible for supporting members of EEFC FCU in accordance with applicable rules and regulation of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and the policies and procedures of the EEFC FCU Board of Directors (BOD). Grant funding supports the position fully through Dec. 31, 2023 with an expectation that funding and the position will continue at least through 2025.

RentHelpPGH is hiring a Mediation Resource Navigator:

RentHelpPGH is hiring a Mediation Resource Navigator to support successful landlord / tenant mediation agreements. This position will be housed within RentHelpPGH and collaborate closely with Just Mediation Pittsburgh to receive mediation cases and coordinate schedules. The Mediation Resource Navigator will conduct pre-mediation consultations with both the tenant and landlord to identify key issues and supportive resources for dispute resolution.

The Mediation Resource Navigator may participate, along with the tenant, landlord, and mediator, in the mediation to provide onsite guidance towards identifying appropriate services and programs. After the mediation, they will work with the tenant and landlord to connect the appropriate parties with those services and programs. Each mediation case from pre-mediation through post-mediation follow-up will take approximately 5-7 hours, in total. This role will be handling a minimum of 6-10 mediation cases per week.
