Construction Junction is hiring a Customer Service Associate:

We're looking for 2 customer service associates for our retail/warehouse environmental nonprofit.

If you're good with people, happy walking and being on your feet all day, and you can lift up to 80 lbs, we'd love to hear from you. These positions have regularly scheduled days 8:30-5:00 with 30 minutes for lunch, unpaid.

You'll assist customers and donors, including helping them load/unload items, moving items from the warehouse to the store and putting them on display, and running the register (after training).

Assemble PGH is hiring a Ramp Up Coordinator & Teacher:

The Ramp-Up Coordinator is responsible for supporting and the case management of all Ramp-Up Fellows. This role is partially funded through TANF fund through Partner4Work. This role is responsible for the success of the program and its continual development.

This position is responsible for the recruitment, mentorship, and case management of the Ramp Up Fellows in the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. This role is also responsible for the documentation of learning and work opportunities for the fellows.

In addition to coordination, the Ramp Up Teacher will teach youth programs as needed throughout the school year with some potential weekends. The Ramp Up Teacher will be a lead teacher as well as collaborate with Assemble teachers to deliver programming and lessons. This position is responsible for delivering programs based on Assemble’s themes as well as remixing and creating new ones based on contemporary topics in STEAM.

Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering STEAM-based programs. Teachers actively engage to build a culture of making and inquiry. All staff members are expected to help expand the organization’s capacity to fulfill its mission and vision. This position must work collaboratively with all staff as needed.

Food for Climate League is hiring a Junior Researcher

Food for Climate League is looking for a Junior Researcher invested in driving sustainable food careers. They support the Senior Researchers. Tasks may include: conducting literature reviews and landscape analyses; supporting research analysis; organizing ideation sessions, interviews, collective visioning sessions, and focus groups; contributing to the development and testing of prototypes; and assistance coordinating with research vendors and partners.

The ideal candidate will have: (i) strong research and analysis skills, and (ii) strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about sustainable behavioral change and is a meticulously organized individual.

Environmental Health Project is hiring a Field Manager:

The Field Manager oversees EHP’s place-based engagements with communities, NGOs, and policymakers. This role manages a geographically dispersed team responsible for the effective implementation of organizational strategies to support stronger public health protections at local, state, and federal levels.

The Field Manager is responsible for project management of place-based initiatives, including grant-related and fee-for-service deliverables. This role requires effective coordination with EHP’s Program Manager, Communications Manager, and Development Team to ensure delivery and application of EHP’s tools, resources, and content to targeted geographic areas impacted by oil and gas development.

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintaining integrity of end-users overall technological infrastructure, and delivering exceptional service. Our next teammate will manage the desktop environment for PCAR and NSVRC, including providing support and training organization-wide for software packages and supported hardware.

This position also provides technological assistance with special projects and events, tracks and documents IT processes, and backs-up other members and functions of the IT team as needed.

The Climate Reality Project is hiring a Global Campaigns Director:

The Climate Reality Project is seeking a Global Campaigns Director to manage three global campaigns as well as our U.S. petrochemical and Inflation Reduction Act implementation campaigns. Climate Reality’s new focus on emissions reductions and climate finance will help us reach our goal of holding global warming to 1.5⁰ C increase above pre-industrial levels, which involves achieving emissions reductions on the order of 45-50% of 2005 total emissions by 2030.
